Bluetooth problem

Hi,

I've got a 2012 Polo with the basic bluetooth kit fitted. Everything works fine except two things which are annoying:

1. When using the navigation on my phone, i can't hear the first second or so of each announcement (eg I hear 'left into smith street' instead 'in 50 meters turn left into smith street". It appears as if the bluetooth connection was asleep and had to be un-muted which causes the delay. This is obviously not helpful in regards to navigating.
2. The bluetooth connection seems not to be 'on' all the time. When switching from radio to bluetooth for example, I first have to start the mp3player otherwise 'BT-MEDIA' will not appear on the radio display and can't be activated.

I've got a Samsung Nexus (Google Android)

Has anyone encountered similar problems?
