Just to show off a bit in this thread:










Nothing special in it... it was a cancelation order and got it first day of Jan which was the 3rd. BUT I've installed the RCD510, just got the MDI - needs to be installed and will be getting the Bluetooth. Washed every Monday and goes like a beast!!

nice man, I like your camera angles. Just out of curiousity, where did you get those plates (in the last pic, although I realise they are probably just edited into the photo)? I'd quite like to get similar ones of those for my DS3.

WRC plate is a Rally Australia one here in WA. It's the one on the car all the time! The two South African ones a friend sent over to me via mail ad bought the German one on eBay! They're real!! Swapped them in photos whilst snapping

Unlucky with the C2 man, although from what i've seen it wasn't a good car as far as reliability goes. :/ Much the opposite for me, my 66TDI DSG had DSG problems in the 3rd week and because VW claimed nothing was wrong, I sold it and bought the DS3. The move could not have been better. Love the DS3 to bits! Good luck with your GTI, hope you don't get any high oil usage or DSG issues

No i did not get the D-Sport unfortunately. I would have got it in a heartbeat over the 120VTi Dstyle but due to license restrictions (Provisional for the next 2.5 years) I cannot have turbo petrol cars or any car over 210KW. I did test drive the dsport and it was insane (6-spd manual was especially great), although I still very much like my Dstyle 120VTi. I have already got a high air flow air filter and plan to upgrade the spark plugs, induction and exhaust. I love the suspension though. Yes, when I get the time, I will remove my old crappy polo.

Personally, I find reflex silver a bit dull but your shots, pretty darn good for showing the car off

Tried getting the MDI cable installed but no luck. Instructions in German and no diagrams!! Has anyone in Perth install it them selves?

I've sent MZ a link to a Skoda MDI instal. I think it will be ok.
