  • Seat covers

Hey everyone. I'm in need of seat covers for my Polo but I refuse to get the lame tacky ones that seem to be available at places like Autobahn and Super Cheap. Plus theres the issue of the seat airbags.
Has any one got any that manage to keep the good looking contours of the seat and compliment the rest of the interior?

Oh, and I need them because I work in outdoor education and often get in the car very dirty and often with sunscreen, insect repellent and copious amounts of dirt on me and its not always practical for me to shower before leaving work.

    Help if you can!

haha! I have been doing that... But I'm not willing to make that a permanent solution. Its irritating when it keeps moving around.

I should also mention outdoor education is my monday to friday job so its not like getting filthy is a rare occasion... Clean days are the abnormality

you know, come to think of it, even in the 9n3 polos no one really uses seat covers - the design of the seats, with their undertray storage compartments, are such that getting the seat cover fitted snug is a pain and it STILL results in the seat cover moving around when getting in/out (i have a seat cover in my car, but i constantly have to pull it to set it straight).

i think i might have to go throw overs

We purchased a set (front and rear) of the "Wet Seat" covers.
Around a 4 week wait from memory, and we did the front and rear so as to match.
They are not cheap, but are an extremely good fit, waterproof and also air bag compatible for the front seats.

You wouldn't be able to get a quick photo for me would you? I'd love to see the fit and finish of them and how well they contour the seats. I'm not really massively concerned with the price as I see it as protecting my investment just that little bit more.

The covers are a real good fit - the head rests took some persuading LOL.
Covers were ordered from Wetseat and took around 4-5 weeks from memory.
I think the seats a little more comfortable now as they have the 3mm "wetsuit rubber" cover.
I can't see the "Manage Attachments", so send me a message with your email, and I will email photos to you.
