I've seen a 1.2TSI with VW OEM Rims from a Bora, 17" x 7.5" too. Didn't mention any wheel rub problems but who knows for sure. Keep in mind that the track width for the Polo GTI is actually a little shorter (by 20mm) than the TSI to compensate for the 17" wheels so they will stick out slightly. Personally I think that looks cooler

hey guys, just be careful when buying second hand wheels, even if they seem to be a bargain:

the bora sport wheels that readerr0r alludes to are from the mk4 bora, and their stud pattern is 5x100mm, same as in the mk4 golf and indeed the 9n3 and 6R polos.

the mk5 / mk6 golfs / audi a3's newer than around 2003 etc all use a 5x112mm stud pattern, and as such mk5 wheels will NOT fit a polo (well, if you got adapters they would, but do you really want to spend half a grand on adapters just to run oem wheels from a golf?).

if anything, the CLOSEST thing you will get to what you're after, RandomX, will be to look around on the forums and try to pick up some wheels from someone who's selling their 2011 polo gti (6R) wheels. they will fit, no problems.

whatever you do, keep in mind that you're after 5x100 stud pattern, center bore of 57.1mm or larger, with an offset of probably around 35-46mm.
