  • I need winterwheels for my GTI!

    Yo!

My Reflex Silver 2012 GTI is expected in 4-6 weeks.. Ordered june 1st..

Was hoping a little earlier so I could enjoy my "detroits" a little longer on dry roads.. I live in Norway..

Anyways, what do you guys think about vw black motorsport wheels for the winter setup? 17´s..

Anyone with pictures, or really good with photoshop?

    PS:

How do I insert pictures..? Grrr..

hey vdubbully, those black motorsport wheels are really nice - i'd be using the detroits as winter wheels, and the vw motorsport ones as my summer wheels for sure! i havent seen any polos with those black motorsport wheels in australia yet - they're probably like a $4500 option.

Ordered them today complete with Pirelli wintertires, about $2900 in your currensy..

Think it will look real nice, even tough I´m not usually too happy about all black wheels..

I'm going to put some winter tires on my std Denver alloys and buy some cooler wheels for next summer. Not a whole lot of choices for decent winter tires (the ones made for real winter driving, not all season tires) in 215/40-17 size. Might have to go with the more popular 215/45-17 although it will scrape a bit, especially if the car is lowered.
