About to order my Polo GTI!

I'm from the UK but have been browsing this forum for a while and just registered!

Soon I will be placing my order for a 5dr Candy White GTI with:

Tinted Windows
RCD 510
Static Cornering function for fog lights
Bi-Xenon headlights with LED day running lights
Climatronic air conditioning
Multi-function steering wheel including paddle shift
Sensor pack - Polo - SEL
Smoking pack - Polo
Winter pack - Polo

Pretty much every option! (Sunroof doesn't interest me!)

Cannot get the alacantra seats over here in the Polo, only the Tartan!

Total for all of this is £20,393

so what kind of delivery times do you have to endure in the uk? surely nowhere near as long as the 184 months that they do here, lol.

The salesperson I was dealing with said that the 3dr has less of a wait @ around 20 weeks and the 5dr a few weeks longer... that a bit better than for you guys... ?

Yep. I was quoted an 18 month wait on this side of the equator so approximately 3 times as much. Interesting that they offer heated alacantra seats in one of the hottest countries on the planet but not in Ole Blighty?!?

23weeks is getting close to 6 months... add a couple of months for transport and you are looking at waits that people have experienced so far in Australia.

Except it only take 2 days from Bremerhaven to SOuthport on average, depending on if the boat stops in Zeebrugge on the way

It is weird that we can only choose standard cloth seats!

I rather like the look of the golf mk6 gti leather seats MMM!

I don't know how many of you who have received your GTIs had the stopover in Durban but I do know that poor Lowlee had the extra wait to pick up the cargo of Polos (mine included) from South Africa.
