Hi all, so as it turns out I'm not going to be picking up my White 5door Polo GTI with comfort pack, sunroof, upgraded audio and bluetooth.
The reason I am making this thread is because I have been told by the dealer that I can transfer the order into someone elses name and it is due to hit our shores in Melbourne on Friday this week (26/8/11). I also know there are plenty of you out there with wait times until next year so I am putting the offer out there for someone to take over my order.
The only conditions that come with this is that whoever wants to do this must be able to meet me at the dealership in Ferntree Gully, Victoria and put the $500 deposit on the car so that I can receive my deposit back (ill get my deposit back either way but this way the car doesnt go back into the system for someone else to pick up).
I have told the dealership that a "friend of mine" wants the car and that I wont be picking it up anymore but to keep holding it in my name for now.
The drive away price that I negotiated with the dealer was $35,200 drive away with the extras mentioned above.
To be fair I will just do this on first in best dressed basis to send me a PM to my Inbox. Just let me know that you want to take it over and leave your phone number and ill give you a call.
Im hoping I can help someone out who is looking like having to wait until next year.
