  • Mazda2 comes off second best

...and of course that's probably no surprise to those of us that test drove one prior to picking a Polo...

I'd have to agree! The previous polo and Mazda two were worlds apart and the current generation are too. The materials quality is not there in the Mazda, although in my humble opinion I believe VW have cut their quality as well.

Agree, chalk and cheese. I also think the Mazda 2 is a bit too femanine. And Genki sounds like something you find up your nose

Sorry. Having owned both, I disagree. I would have happily bought a Mazda2 MPS if they had made one...

My Polo has rattles that don't settle. The Mazda was a hoot at the speed limit. The Polo is so sedate unless you put yourself at risk of getting a fine! The Polo is EXPEEEEEENSIVE - what with "Dealer Delivery" between $3500 and $4500... if you can get your hands on one...

I'm not regretting the purchase, but I don't think you would go wrong with a Mazda2 GENKI...

My mate has a Mazda 2 and he enjoys the fact he can use non 98 Ron fuel when i have to.
They are a pretty decent car and the fact you can get them easily is a big bonus.

I would certainly enjoy that. How do I find out when and where? Is there a club in Brisbane?
