    I got a GTI with corporate fleet discount, saved me $1500...(-;

      I will put a plug in for Paul Miles at Bill Buckle Brookvale

      Treated us well with no bs.

      Give him a call. If you want me to let him know you are calling, pm me

      I have to say also, their service dept sorted out two mess ups caused by another dealer.

        I can agree with candyman about Paul Miles, he is a really nice guy and very keen to help, another salesman that I would talk to there is Lee, I can't remember his last name but he is in charge of finance and is another really nice guy

          Lee is a funny fella

          Chad is a crack up too.

          This will be the 2nd new vehicle I have bought off them. A brief and unpleasant interlude with Denlo in between.

          I still got hit up by the tint and paint protection lady but she didn't push once I said the first "no thanks"

          They can get Polo's mate. Just talked to Chad.

            Funny that you guys mentioned him. I was in a fishing shop in Brookvale a month or so ago and stumbled into the Volkswagen dealership. I was just having a look at that point and didn't want to waste anyone's time but I was greeted by a sales guy who was very helpful. Just checked my wallet because I remembered he gave me a card and sure enough, it was Paul Miles.

            Thanks for the referral Candyman. I'm going to pull back for a while because it's the Polo that really suits my needs. The Golf is great and I definitely would have bought one a week or two ago at the right price but since then I've had some time to think and I'm happy to sit on the sidelines for now.

                  Isn't this interesting! I am still waiting for a call back from Bill Buckle, from a message I left them and, Internet enquiry in Dec 2010. They also lost a sale of an R and GTD from 2x prominent business owners not 500m down the road from them in Dee Why.

                  Guess who got the sale....CCC.

                  Guess it's a matter of timing and the mood of a salesman? Just like a copper letting you off a ticket, or not, depending if he/she had their morning coffee/cuddle that day.

                    Agree with you there. Depends on the day, mood of the salesman and ultimately how they get along/perceive you. I had a skim through one of the older posts - "which salesperson in Sydney" - and the only guy that seemed to get consistently glowing reviews was from a Central Coast dealership - David?

                      Depends on the person buying as well ....

                          Now I know it's poor form to quote yourself (kind of like laughing at your own jokes) but with world financial markets burning and the ongoing debt-deleveraging (another financial markets euphemism) I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few order cancellationson some of the premium VW badges this year, including the Polo Gti.
