If you are a member of a group/association/company, check to see if there are any arrangements between them and Volkswagen Group Australia. Such discounts are no cost to the dealer as VGA reimburse the dealer.

Make sure you ask the dealer.

I don't know what your experience was, but I found Nick to an absolute tosser. So much so that I went to another dealer. He wanted me to sign a contract before I even took a GTI for a test drive.

Ditto, I ended up going through Anthony Granato (who unfortunately has moved to fleet sales) , but had to deal with Andrew a couple of times. I'd reccommend Highway VW to anyone.

I dealt with Trent Livingstone at Austral, he seemed to know what he was talking about, returned calls, called me up to follow up etc, very helpful.

I never received calls back from Norris at Kedron they lost a sale with me as it would have been much easier to buy the car from them and for servicing etc.

Some one else mentioned being a member of an association, nearly anything will do, I am a CPA and I have a friend who is a dentist, the savings are significant and it is nationwide supported by VGA, so further discounts are available through the dealer.

i had the worst experience with highway - was told no test drives on saturdays and the gti demo was grounded due to high kms. i reported this 'insulting' experience to andrew jacques and he said ' that is our policy'. told him he lost a sale and i will never ever recommend people go there and i would even report his dealership to vw australia for bad customer service. went togold coast snd signed the deal then told andrew sucked in

I understand with regards to not wanting to sign up without at least test driving the car, but for us that wasn't a problem. Service we received was great unlike are 2 previous efforts at austral and 1 time at highway VW. That's why we recommended him. If you got the deal done elsewhere and your happy that's all that matters hey.

Went to Highway, saw a red Polo GTI sitting in the underground garage. Enquired about it but apparently it's "sold". I went onto carsales later that week and lo and behold
