  • need part No. for GTI hatch spoiler wing thingy

Does anyone know, or is able to find out, the part number for the GTI rear spoiler?
Can't find it anywhere and the dealer is simply refusing to check their database for 10 minutes to look for the part ''because it doesnt belong on my car!''
It really is the only thing still missing on the exterior of my car, any help will be greatly appreciated!

Here's the number for the primed (unpainted) spoiler: 6R6827933C GRU. You probably also need this bracket for the spoiler: 6R6827989.

You don't need any fasteners as it glues on with poly urethane glue which you can buy from any hardware. I bought the VW adhesive kit and the PU had dried up so I took it back and got it from the hardware.

If you look at my pic you will see it fitted.

GTI or the styling spoiler? Because the GTI spoiler comes with a mounting bracket and the bracket mounts to the rear of the hatch with teh adhesive, then teh spoiler onto the bracket....

Sorry for the late reaction but I was on vacation..
But many thanks for the replies! This will give me enough info to go to the dealership
And Gavs, to answer your question, no I'm not building a GTI lookalike
It's just that I don't like the open space in the Votex wing and the GTI is the only good looking alternative
