can someone with silver GTI post some more pics? what are the pros and cons of silver. I have never considered silver before but beggars cant be choosers..

I had reflex silver on my 2002 polo and it looked fantastic up until the day I sold it May 2011. I would have got my Tig in reflex silver but it was time for a change. The silver looks clean all the time even when dirty and the metallic flecks look great especially in sunlight.

Reflex silver is the best colour for the Polo!! Some one in here has a 5dr Silver GTi, Miles I think.

If I did it again, I would go silver. It's a beautiful colour on the Polo. Silver is also by far the easiest colour to keep clean. Go for it!

Silver is a very European color and looks good no doubt but, if you ask me it has been done to death over the last 15 odd years and is now seemingly dated...in any tone.

I was thinking of getting a silver Polo as I love silver cars. Two things stopped me though...my previous car was silver (as was every other Astra on the road - or so it seemed!) plus I thought the dark glass of the panoramic sunroof would look better against the red paint.

thanks for the pictures Tsuku..greatly appreciate..Silver isn't that bad..would really have liked white one though but beggers cant be choosers..at least I am getting a car in 2 weeks from order to delivery..which should keep me happy..and this is my first silver car so at least something different than had before (all black ones)..

Coming from black to silver, you will have so much more time out cruising and enjoying your little beastie as opposed to cleaning,cleaning, cleaning. I love black cars BTW, but went from white to black to silver and come full circle back to white.....black was def. the biggest challenge to not only keep clean but looking good. Silver was the most forgiving out of the three for me. Although in saying all this, none were European cars

I definitely agree with everyone about the silver , current daily car is silver and the best colour so far

My other car ( 91 Pulsar GTI-R ) is black , although black on some cars is attractive wouldnt own or buy
another black coloured vehicle again

Totally agree on the Silver.
And everybody need own a black car just to remind them NOT to buy another black car again! Always need to clean it, even if you just cleaned it
