6R GTI Coilovers

Hi Guys

I'm collecting bits for my new Polo GTI while I wait for delivery. What I'd like to know is who of you out there have Coilovers or spring setups on your Polo GTI's and which brand do you guys have ? Also any reviews ? I'm not too sure on which route I should go. I was thinking maybe just a set of H&R lowering springs, but I don't want a Really hard ride.

I bought some H&R 35/55mm springs for my GTI for around $240 landed.
Will have my car within the next couple of weeks hopefully and will be chucking them straight on

I have the H&R monotube for mine. Can't remember exactly how much now without checking, but I think it's $1500 or so landed. Can't wait to get it installed which will be in a couple of weeks.

If you don't want stiff, remove the stock suspension!

From what I can gather the only way I can get my gti low enough (guard 10-15mm above the tyres) and keep some form of suspension travel is coilovers?

I'm looking for coilovers ATM to. They are good for getting proper lows. I don't believe in buying lower springs.

I have a mate running AP in his 9N GTi. I'm looking at Weitec because it is said they are made by KW. If I had the cash I would personally go V2's with the damper adjustment.

I know heaps of people with coilovers and I honestly wouldn't go any other way for lowering my car.
