Just Noticed - Pop Your Hood

I still climb into the Polo and get impressed by some aspect of the design.

Yesterday I wanted to check the coolant level, and reached down to open the bonnet via the catch on the drivers side. But of course I couldnt - the door was closed and the design is such that you cannot pull the level with the door closed. That's the first time I've come across that idea in a car - smart. Nice safety feature - no chance of popping your own hood open whilst your on the move
(unless you like to drive with the door wide open )

I've lost count of the amount of people I've shaken my head at that are driving down the road with their bonnet popped. How in the hell can they not notice the front of their car wobbling and bouncing around?!
