    Insane - lol

Powered by a highly-modified 2.5 liter, five-cylinder TFSI unit (direct-injection and turbocharged), the A1 Clubsport Quattro boasts a total output of 503 PS (370 kW / 496 bhp) and 660 Nm (486.79 lb-ft) of torque.
And weighing just 1,390 kilograms (3,064 lb), the numbers are great for what you can imagine to be a very nimble A1. 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) comes in at 3.7 seconds. The 0 to 200 km/h (124.27 mph) sprint takes 10.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155.34 mph).

Lol yeah... saw that last night on World Car Fans. Looks insane! With the side exhausts I initially thought it was a mid/rear engined car.
It just seems really amazing that they can fit the 2.5L turbo in that car...

More photos are available at the World Car Fan article (more than the Australian link you provided I mean).

If it ever comes could you imagine the AUD price compared to the US. Still would love one.

Don't like the shape of the A1. I would rather take the Polo R WRC edition over this IMHO.

Now this is the sort of insanity I want to be a part of.

Must be bonkers to drive, what a sleeper, yes fast crazy subtle looking Audis are always the way to go.

It's the big bad wolfe in Granny's frock!

Wow, they actually made one....a two seater? the wheels are appalling IMO. The rest looks reasonable

Yeah, whether it RUNS or not is another question...

But yes, two seat only! I figure there is no way you are fitting an AWD system capable of handling that 660Nm load and still fitting seats there

It could be drivable but still be an absolute dog like the Golf that was fitted with the Lamborghini engine.
Specs can be great but a car needs to be fully engineered to drive properly.

Yeah, and the A1 looks dumb
