I don't mean price fixing silly

I mean that some of these companies are not local and just sell from international shores. They'll have lower costs etc than a customer that has local outlets, or even a complete local engineering/distribution arm.

A company that has the complete setup here is not going to ever be as cheap as the internet jobbies. But then, you get one of the international jobbies and have a problem, and the best help you can get is from these forums, lol (we've see that a few times).

I'm sure within the next 2-3 months all the hand held devices, DNA, Viezu, Revo etc. will crack the current ECU. Then we will get some pretty good prices as competition increases.

Would you care to place a wager on that? (about hand held devices working)
