  • Anyone here have a babyseat in their Polo GTI? And possibly a picture of it..?

Need to figure out two things before I put one on order..

    -If a babyseat fits OK..

-And as an earlier thread I justposted, if I should order the GTI even though the boot space probably is smaller due to the battery being in the back..

Also, are you all happy with your GTI´s..? Any tips / advice?

    My current car is a 2011 (sept. ´10 reg.) Golf 2.0 TDI (140hp) 4motion and full R-Line styling package + +

Need smaller "wifey" car because we just moved and the new garage is really narrow!

        Nice!

Need a backward- (don´t know how you say it in english) type seat first as the little one is "touching down" in july / august, but will definitly get this later on!!

I´m one decent trade-in price for my Golf now away from ordering a Polo GTI

Go check out the UK VW website for the accessories list. They have various types of baby seats including the one pictured above. Lol....even the baby needs to feel the g force during cornerings........

                  Thanx, would really appreciate it!

What do you think of the boot space, it´s smaller than the standard Polo´s, right..?

Any chance for a babystroller there at all..?

I wouldnt know about size compared to non GTi. My boys are 4 & 5 years old so we dont use a stroller any longer. Previous city car was a Toyota Yaris, and that took a stroller easily. So I dont think you would have any space issues with a stroller in the GTi.

                        THANX-A-MILLION!

                        Looks good

This will be our second car, the other one is bigger so we'll probably do just fine!

Actually, you will need to be careful that your stroller can fit. I have a 77TSI (has slightly more boot space due to not having the battery in the back) and our stroller only just fits. The door actually closes on it a bit but it squeezes in.

The stroller that we have is one of these:

                          Maclaren Vogue - Black/Champagne

It's a fantastic stroller and very light, which is handy for taking overseas but like I said, it only just fits in the boot.

More importantly, will a set of golf clubs fit in the boot?!?!

Just kidding... Got a couple of kids under 5 myself. I think it will be some time before I bother finding out the answer to the above question...

i have a rear facing baby seat fitted to my GTI. re boot space, we can only fit the pram in the boot and thats it, nothing else can fit into that space, we have a bugabo bee btw.
