Hey guys and gals,

Just letting you know for those who can't make it or whatever to the official 6R polo cruise, I'm going to do a dry run (or wet, depending on rain!) of the planned route on the 28th as a bit of a sighting run, see what the roads are like etc, won't be a full on blat but more like a last hurrah and farewell of the golf before the new toy arrives, try and get some nice photos at some points too if it's nice photography conditions. If any of you want to join me, let me know. Frostee, looking at you in the Mini If you're lucky, you might get a coffee out of me even depending on numbers!

Mate, the MINI is off the road. All detailed up awaiting sale or trade-in. I haven't driven it in almost 2 weeks and the last drive will be this Saturday morning when I go to get a final trade-in figure from VW Ca,berwell

Hey Frostee, no luck selling the mini last weekend?

No luck yet. I had one potential buyer however wanted me to drive it to a RACV Inspection Centre in Nunawading sometime this week at 0830 and pick it up at 1630. I said no. Said she would be welcome to have it inspected at my home at an agreed time. Was too much trouble so suggested we call it quits. Haven't heard back. Had another serious buyer here on Monday except he has to sell a car before he can buy. I've given him first right of refusal if someoneelse comes along.

The car is a bargain and in immaculate shape. I've priced it a little over trade-in value. Anyway, am taking it to VW on Saturday for a updated trad-in value. Worst case I'll trade it in when the Polo is ready. I'm philosophical about the whole thing. It's all about the market and if nobody wants to buy in the time-frame you have to sell, then you just have to accept you trade it in, and move on from there.

Never know though, might get some interest this weekend

Fingers crossed for you mate, am in teh same boat with the Golf, but i flat out refuse to accept $5000 as a trade in on it, that's below redbook fercrissake!!

So will we be stopping for lunch together went for my first long drive today to Alexandra and
bumped Into a Subaru club who also were on a trek to have Australia's greatest chicken parma n it got me wondering if we were gonna include a luncheon in our cruise

Ok, I've had another couple of pull-outs, our list is now down to below 20. Apparently there was quite a bit of snow fall this weekend just gone so I will DEFINATELY be going for a look-see run next weekend for all of you!
