Long shot - anyone want to sell their GTI for a premium?

I have a CW 3 door GTI audio-comfort-xenon on order, but like everyone else, it is likely to only come in Jan. I know this is a long shot, but is there anyone who rather make $1k from me than pick up their Polo GTI that is about to arrive? Yeah I know it's a long shot, but it is worth asking the question.

After writing this last night, I browsed through same other thread here and realise that Phillip Fairhall from Gerald Slaven Volkswagen in Canberra posted a few days ago that he has the exact car I ordered! So I PM him at 2.30am! At 7.15am, I get a message back from him to call his mobile number, which I did immediately.

Would you believe that by 7.30 on Good Friday, I have bought myself a GTI and it is coming in a couple of weeks? How good is Philip's service! Thanks heaps!

Hey we will have twin cars! I can't wait. Haven't had a VW since I sold our Mk5 GTI to a forum member. That only has xenon as the option, so this is really the shrunken version of that! Time to contact Guy Harding I think.

That's the way (way). Did you have to pay $1k over asking to get it? I can't get a reply out of Phillip. I even PM'd him to check he hadn't DOA'd - good to know he's still okay and able to reply to people, even if he is a little selective. Wonder if that's the difference between a sale and service?
