Thanks for copying me that Link apples, much appreciated! I have a friend that works in servicing in VW and mentioned that the manual trans were a better build out of the two.. Has anyone mentioned any issues they've had with the DSG's?? I think the whole transmission thing was the hardest thing for me to choose! I just thought the manual had a little bit more go on take off, but I really don't know how the DSG works to drive it similar to a manual?

I wanted a sunroof but couldn't wait that long for my car if I got one put in (not factory fitted) would it breach the warranty on the car? Has anybody done this?

I have never seen an aftermarket sunroof that is any good. What did you have in mind?

It's 'strange' because the factory fitted one is panoramic.

Just had my car delivered last week to me. Candy white 66Tdi with pano sunroof. I expect people have found out by now but the windows and roof will open and close with a press or two of the controller. The roof just pops up at the back. Great car. It seems a bit nippier than my golf mk5 1.9 manual was. The dsg is good, no issues.
