Has any who has the internal alarm factory option found the button to turn it on and off as described in the manual? It says that it is meant to be located near the drivers door, but I haven't been able to find it.

I don't think an alarm is standard on the 6R polos sold here.

The old Polo GTI had an alarm and had the button in question.

I purchased the additional factory option [Alarm system with interior monitoring and tilt sensor]; the only visible difference that I have found so far to the normal Polo is a sensor up near the overhead lights.

the on/off switch is an optional extra.. LOL but in all seriousness, you should ask your dealer. you wouldnt want other people knowing how to turn off your alarms
