Thanks. PCD is 5 x 100 for the PoGo, same as those wheels which are an accessories wheels for Bora and used by VW racing R32s. If anyone else is interested, offset is 38 and it is a 17x7.5.Originally posted by schoona View PostWayne, 57.1 is bang on for VW's, but PCD may be either 5x100 or 5x112. You'll have to confirm that.

Did anyone here actually find out the cost of these? Also, does anyone know what they weigh? Looks good, downside though is that it is no wider than the standard GTI wheels, nor is the offset anymore aggressive.Originally posted by Smacca View PostThose rims look sweet! A great choice for the Pepper Grey.
I was thinking of getting a quote for the 17" VW Motorsport rims in black for my candy white GTI on order. The Newcastle dealership had a white GTI demonstrator fitted with them and it looked awesome!

Although I'm scared to even imagine what the price will be...

I got quoted about a grand per corner for those. Was even advised to go aftermarket by the dealer when i was looking at them.Originally posted by way View PostDid anyone here actually find out the cost of these? Nice look, but heavy...
If you want nice rims, look to the USA... OEM are way over priced new.
For example, you can get my rims Enkei's, RPF1's for around 1500 new, they are half the weight of the Bora Sports, wider, but obviously you need to suit your own tastes.
If you want a used set, they go for over a grand in good cond.

Are you saying Bora sports are heavy or the motorsport wheels? I thought the motorsports wheels are meant to be really light, but I have no concrete info. I am not a fan of the RPF1 unfortunately, and the OZ's are too agressive with the width and offset.Originally posted by noone View PostNice look, but heavy...

I was saying the Bora Sports are heavy. Actually they are similar to a lot of OEM wheels of the same size, I had a set of MkI TT rims, looked awesome, but heavy.
no idea on the motorsport, but I think the new VAG rims are getting lighter. Was playing with a new R rim recently, good weight for the size.
You could get some awesome rims for the price VW will want locally...

Sounds like a plan and should look really good. I am torn between what your suggesting, charcoal grey all over and just keeping them as they are...damn it too many choicesOriginally posted by snedden9485 View PostI intended on painting my denvers all black when mine arrived, however after seeing that pic of the white GTI with black denvers, no way. That was hideous. I think i will be doing the detroit painting style of my denvers.
