Thanks, only thing is those Enkei M3 wheels might be a b*tch to keep clean. Is good you can buy 5 wheels too of those in one go since will have a spare incase one cracks.

I would just get it done in gunmetal kinetik or charcoal met pearl if you have to.

Brave choice of wheel for a modern, european vehicle with clean lines and taught surfaces, not ever-extravaganza like a korean, japanese or australian designed car. As a designer, in my opinion, they won't suit the polo, the surfaces of the wheels are all wrong, far too aggressive.

Colour choice? Look below.


Black on a red car is too contrasting. The idea of a wheel is to compliment the vehicle, not detract from it. I have black on the golf, but being dark green with dark tint and black plastic trim on the bodywork, it ties in better without being overtly garish. On a deep, blood red, maybe, not such a vivid, transparent red though.

My thoughts anyway.

Excuse my ignorance, but shouldn't the offset be ET46? and will 18X8 fit? Maybe I am thinking of the Polo GTI.

cost a little more than if i bought off ebay or somewhere in the states (taking into account shipping and duty) but the few yanks i queried were very vague/unsure of tire width and offset.

if i got them shipped from the US and they didnt fit i'd be screwed.

ET46 is correct for a 17x7 but with the extra width of the 18x8 you need to space them out a bit for inner guard clearance

just found a car on ukpolos with 18x ET35 which looks sweet
