Hi Guys,
bare with me here, I know it's a Vdub site so pls avoid the initial urge to tell me to buzz off once you read this.
I will begin first by saying that I woke up on Saturday morning with a single thought, buying a Polo Tsi man. My 95 ford exploded a week ago and the repairs were 2 x times it's trade value so the new car got pushed closer.
My niaivity meant that I thought I would walk in and just buy one, WRONG!! 2 dealers and tha best I could do is delivery in April. Out if frustration I ended up at a Suzuki showroom and under 35 minutes later I had purchased a 2011 GL Swift Man.
The reason was simple, it drove as close to the Polo as any car I could find and some if it's plastics (not all of course) reminded me of the Polo and the Golf IV we currently own. The car was very impressive and very different to the ****e box I was expecting.
They had one in stock which was a huge factor and it was obviously cheaper than the Polo (some $5,000). It made me think that VW are having more than just s financial share in the product? Does anyone know whether this is a reality and whether I have by default ended back in the VW fold?
Any 'nice' feedback would be appreciated
Cheers
