  • Traction Control Warning??

Hi all, brand new here so just let me know if I'm in the wrong lace haha.
Just got my new Polo GTI yesterday..LOVE IT!
Although, one thing I have noticed is the traction control warning light comes on quite often.
I don't thrash it intensely, though I have had a bit of a play with it.
I used to drive a Subaru Forester XT and the warning rarely came on, mainy just if I had a quick take-off.
I know they're very different cars and I don't know a lot about the mechanics etc, but I guess I was just a tad worried about how often it comes on. I guess it will also just be because the car will take some getting used to (and I'm just testing it a bit )
So anyway, does anyone else get this issue?

Ohhh that's good! So it's pretty much normal hahahaha
It's just slightly offputting seeing a warning light pop up every time I drive :S
            But yeah, turn it off!

Finally had the chance to take mine out for a nice drive through to Bundeena yesterday, roads were a bit damp from rain, so the light had a good workout by the time I got home. Awesome car to drive.

Dealer told me that even if you turn it off above 80km/h it cuts back in.

Don't know about TC but ESC can't be turned off, as per all new performance VW's whcih sucks, looks like I won't bother with a track day to try the GTI out fully when it gets here
