What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
I have swapped front and rear emblems to black versions, car is not clean...

Looks sweet! How did you do it? Currently have a pearl black 6c GTI and I'd like to black or change the emblems. Did it on my last 6r but u sure on how for the 6c

Front badge, best way is to remove front grill, 2 screws in top corners along radiator support and pull forward (mine is a comfortline). Then it is very easy to pop out, push in 4 clips that hold it in.
For the rear badge it is similar to this vid, just need to get an old credit card in there and use of plastic trim tool helped. No indent for the Polo to get started.

Bought them from fab_r on eBay, his on a fair few forums. Great to deal with!
Thanks! Just came across this video as well. He has another in which he removes the front badge with a screwdriver without touching the grill, would it not be the same for the Polo? Thanks for the quick replies

It is held on by little clips from the gloss back backing, but more likely to break clips this way. Taking it out completely as one is much safer and easier.
I'm waiting for that exact intake, how was the install for you? and does it have a secondary filter separate or is it combined with the whole box?
Thanks
It's got a Pipercross pod filter inside. I had it installed by Phil @ Eurospec when it was in to be lowered. From memory the bracket was too long & he had to amend the coupling hose too. Nice bit of kit & HG MS where a dream to deal with!

Does the grill come out just like the Mk7 golf? The 6r grill I found a bit tricky trying to avoid breaks. And are the rear badges different on the 6c? Can't find any already done black. Thank a lot for the help

Not sure how the golf grill is removed but once you remove 2 screws, pull the grill forward and it unclips fairly easy. Apparently it is but I ordered 6c specific badges.
