What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

I would be interested to do this on my car, but would it be a pain with the integrated bluetooth/mic, steering wheel controls be connected to the new headunit?

Because you've got the MY15 GTI, I wouldn't be uninstalling the screen and things in that in a hurry, you will lose such things like vehicle settings.. and the fascia would cost a mint..

I didn't use my in built mic or 9w7 bluetooth unit (both were sh*t anyway), as you can see above, I installed an external microphone and the bluetooth came built into the head unit. Not quite sure where the bluetooth is installed in the 6C polo's whether it's under the seat again or in the actual unit

The steering wheel controls wasn't a drama, the aerpro cabling I used and converts the VW steering wheel control language into Pioneer language to still have full functionality.

Was having a couple of problems with my RCD510 and iPhone 6 compatibility.. I also wanted an RVC.

So I decided to buy a Pioneer X3700DAB

Additionally to Bluetooth I get to have;
- iPod functionality with AppConnect (Nav etc.)
- No touch Siri functionality
- Reverse camera
- Digital Radio
- DVD playback

I don't have to lose my steering wheel buttons AND the sound quality is better

What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

Serviced the TDI today at 125,000km.
Minor service, so only oil filter and oil replaced, took at most 30 mins to complete the job.
Total parts cost: $78.66 using Shell Helix Ultra ECT 5W-30 (VW 504.00/507.00) ($48.57) and a WIX Filtron oil filter ($7.92). Also used Liqui Moly's Mos2 additive ($17.69) as its spoken highly of throughout several VW diesel forums, and I think it makes a difference, too. Replacement drain plug (as the crush washer is captive) was $4.48.

I installed a 2013 gti interior in my 2015 polo tsi wish I knew how to add photos.. Looks and feels so much better when driving.. But I now had the airbag light on.. I'm going to see volkshome in Thomastown to hopefully be able to get rid of it.

have to admit i love the new seat... it makes the car feel so much better around corners and still as comfy as the standard seats
just out of curiosity... how much would this interior go for? i wont say how much i got it for till i know if i got a bargin or not lol
condition is pretty much 9/10 it has some small marks on the bottom of the seat where the plastic is but from where you sit and when you look around it you will not notice it at all... being very picky of cause

Would anyone know if there is any difference installing the front seats off a 2 door gti. Into a 4 door tsi?

i think it would be the same... but it will have the flip thing so people can go into the back seat ... i think that would be the only difference
