What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

Eurethane glue, 4x self tapering screws and some rubber stools / clamps to hold them in place...an hour later you can drive but its avised to let the Eurethane glue to set a minimum of 12 max 24 hours.

Ok cheers. I think this will be added to my list of things to do.

Just throwing it out there...but what are people's thoughts on adding to each side the car and maybe the bonnet... some custom large scale, color complimented, banded style racing decals with some smaller brand logos? Nothing too extreme though.

Yep understand that but considering my car is already vinyl wrapped army green, I don't believe it will make much difference at all.

Well, after long thought and actually shedding a small tear. I've finally decided to put my Polo shopping trolley up for sale, despite having ambitions to do a VR6 conversion. Time, age and partner are proving it almost impossible to ever achieve that dream..

And to the response above about "eye catching" I've had these mods for well over a year and police have said nothing but positive things at RBT stops with regards to my car as I've kept it "clean" rather than lowering, stancing or using aggressive kits and wheels.

I've been defected once. Pulled over with a warning once (in a more defect-able state [lower, stretched tyres, back tail lights, louder exhaust]), and had an RBT where the officer said he heard me coming, keep checking out the car but said nothing else.
All depends on what your doing at the time and what mood the officers are in.

Yesterday I enjoyed the supercharger whine while driving it home through Hawthorn. So nice to be able to drive with the windows down and listen to it, even if traffic was heavy.

Then today I filled it up for the first time. TBH I'm really enjoying the low fuel consumption of this car even though I'm putting my foot down at every opportunity. Can't drive it like I stole it until it's run in.
