Bear in mind that any modification that inhibits light from the vehcle is considered illegal in QLD (maybe other states) so this could land you with a defect notice, loss of point/s and a fine.

That is why there is a demand for aftermarket housings that have black mouldings and/or deep red lenses.

well like i said, the amount of light that shines thru is actually very close to stock at night time, thats why i like them

i hate driving behind people with taillights so tinted i literally cannot tell if their braking or not

overall, personally, ive found cops in vic to be quite leniant to "small" issues like this, and most times just get a warning, ive been let off for much worse !

Update: The item cannot be shipped in the body kits current phase, they physically need to measure the car as its hand crafted from scratch.

However they are planning to make a mass produced version of this bar soon (Most likely PP plastic instead of Fibreglass etc).

Oh noes..... that is where the r20 bar was good, it retained the look of 'factory' which is a bloody well proportioned car. That kit, it just ruins it

The problem with the R20 bar...is that its now impossible to get it into Australia, that and I cannot find out who the original manufacturer is in order to make them send one with the appropriate paperwork...

We'll see how our little venture goes Gavs...if your contact can actually take photos of the splitter that they're selling. *fingers crossed*

Yeah I'm going to have a hard time stenciling those ovals though. Not sure how to go about it...lol I've got the gloss plasti dip too so I was hoping that would give the metallic look.

Just get some silver metaliser to make it sliver

so just a tip. from experience. .. I've tried the Detroit look on denvers. and it's hard to make it look perfect. but with the gloss finish u need 4 coats minimum. but I'm excited to see the end result. also make sure you get 18mm masking tape but the painters type.

Yeah that will be on the cards for sure... gotta get that wide tape, thing is how can i circulate the oval ring without it looking completely dodge... annoying thing is was the guy I bought the plasti dip off was happy to swap detroits for my denvers but I knew that didn't fit that would have solved everything...lol

I did some plasti dip surgery today aswell.
