Ok everyone it's finished.... !!!
I'm happy with it ......
but I'm not happy with it. ..... there bits of silver from the cleaning from masking but here it is I might do it again this week but do all 4 wheels

I jus happened to fix the biggest problem with my (and any other pre MY12 polo with rcd 510) polo. I have gone from blue to white



Sooooo long have I been searching and finally, someone did me the favour of stacking a post my12 polo with Climatronic

Oh gavs lucky you what did you do to swap it over I enquire to VW about swapping and it was going to set me back $800. I laughed and left it as that. Created a post on here to see if anyone would swap but no luck then thought I might pull it apart and make it black on white by removing the blue LEDs inside.

I've been wanting to swap this out so badly too, what's the trick? eBay?

Finally finished my reverse camera install! Rcd 510 plus reverse camera, just proved that it can be done

BUT

IMO it looks unfinished and like there is some sort of unwanted mark on your wheels. I've never been a fan of asymmetric design on cars. to me it makes it look like the wheel isnt round.

Maybe im not getting the full effect from the pictures and as I said if you are happy with it then enjoy. You paid for the car so do whatever you want hahaha!

There are another 4 areas to paint on that wheel first, followed by the remaining 3 wheels so just wait and see

BUT, I'm not sold. I would have gone the other way if it was me. Gold flake on the outer faces.

I completely agree with u . Sunday arvo was just a test run to see what it looks like . the reason I got plastidip is because I can remove it when ever I want. that's why I love plastidip . I started to be apart of a forum for help and to help others also to learn and get ideas from other people. like what gavs said your thought on gold on the wheel face . I think I'm going to try that. sounds like a good idea . also I have another idea ...
