Got back from Sydney yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't there long enough to go for a drive, but that's definitely on the cards for next time.

From Shell in Phillip (Canberra) to Olympic Park and back to Shell I used 6.05L/100km without really trying to drive conservatively. Super happy. Also got me over the 9000km mark

Sydney-Canberra is uphill so you'll use a lot more. My car reported 5.2L/100km to Sydney(!) but took a hit coming home.

I got the guys to add carbon rap to the spoiler, side mirrors & front badge they did it perfect with out removing the spoiler.

I though it would try my self BUT after shopping around for the right vinal and pricing the good stuff i ended up with them off the mini forum

just called them and they said drop it off for the day and they will sort it out. They use vinal out of Italy that looks better than the 3 m stuff and weathers better apparently (they say but they can get 3 m if you want). once i get my car back tomorrow i will tack a close up pic if you interested.

$ 110 spoiler did not remove and did a perfect job
$ 60 front badge
$ 313.50 side mirrors they take the mirror cup off and do it on the bench and put it back on.

Just picked up a can of Touch up paint yesterday (Flash Red tint) freebie...zip...nadda.

The Xenons are being installed hopefully tomorrow!

The lights look good. I was just wondering, is it possible to disable the angel eyes? I don't want people to think I'm driving a VMW.

Its possible, it just voids your warranty

So after a few months...possibly a year i will go into the unit and disable/cut the angel eyes wires...but seeing them first hand turn on during a bench test...they kind of grew on me

Yeah yeah...The headlights are on the car right now.

The low beam works however the DRLs and indicators need to be installed by an auto electrician.

The cutoff looks to be RHD which is surprising...just needs to be adjusted so both beams cross paths (one is lower than the other and both are separated in direction).
