        • quite like that one, but have my eye on another set at the moment... more fitting to the possible work to come .

But to fit with the topic, am taking off my Forge BOV kit now, since the recall was done, its either hitting vacuum at cruising speed or there’s more boost now than the spring can handle, have combed the engine bay for possible boost leaks and can’t find any so I’m at a loss ... Just need to replace the split o-ring from the turbo to the stock charge pipe that the service department left me.

            • There have been issues with the spring tensions in the forge valves so also look into that also...

              • just got my distributer chain (the one that drives the camshafts) replaced. Just 20.000 km and it was stretched to the point it was causing power loss and extreme rattles on startup :/
I've seen the new chain and it is a little thicker so I hope it won't happen again.

                  • Interesting, gavs . Now that is code for what exactly?

Sorry to be such a noob yet again, but I love learning about this stuff.

                    • It's code for "I cut the baseboard piece of MDF for something I might look into making a mock-up of that I could also look into producing small volume, fibreglass runs of. IF, I cannot find a suitable ABS plastic alternative"
