  • Check the German Ebay, they pop up every month or so, just be patient. Sometimes not very expensive either, was able to pick up 2 sets or rear lights for €160 total

Installing them on my own again today

      • Remember when buying headlights or rear headlights to buy RHD compatible units as the fog light is on the opposite side in Europe (Rear brake fog light). and a fault code will pop up.

        • Actually in India they also drive on the wrong side of the road (left side ) so The fog light reflector was on the wrong side. Didn't trigger any codes as the reverse light and fog light are still functioning. Fixed it with a simple solution:

Flames + hot knife = win

Because the left side does not have the reflector I used special red paint to make the bulb red and it's all good now

@Lieto, here you go, found it on the german website: Artikelnr.: 6R0801130-2

          • ty for info

While searching for rear kit i stumbled upon this babe Ingo Noak Tuning Polo 6R Duplex Abgasanlage - YouTube looks cool
Btw do you have a full kit of tuning (front+side+rear?) i really want to do something with rear skirt +exhaust but kinda like side and front as it is and dont want to reduce ground clearance. Any idea if rear skirt alone will look ugly?

            • NP
I dont have a full kit, just the ABT exhaust. The ABT kit won't reduce clearance but just about any other skirt available will. So if you choose just to install a rear bumper then the rear will be lower than the side/front

Have you seen the JE Design kit? The rear looks like the ABT one and is probably cheaper (dont know for sure)

              • So that basically makes ABT my only option and i am actually happy to hear that something like this even exists – something that can be used without buying a whole set of skirts. The one i linked looks cooler in terms of exhaust but i just cant afford lowering clearance with our awful roads in mind. Any idea if you can use abt skirt with that twin pipe i linked above though?

I am assuming you got this set — does it include everything? like pipes etc. I mean atm my only pipe is on the left side of the car, will i be able to somehow re-mount and assemble it all the way it is on the picture or will it require some additional parts?

p.s. sorry for jumping on you like that, its just not many people to discuss that kind of stuff in my country and most information is in german for some reason ))

Something like this would be perfect (created this one in photoshop):

                • no problem at all
parts included are the carbon look diffuser and rear muffler (wich has an S-bend to the middle of the bumper and a slightly different sound than original)

That's basically all you need, you do need to make a small cut in the bumper for the twin pipes though. Maybe you can even contact ABT directly and only order the diffuser (they speak english too) and fabricate your own exhaust pipes for the tips you want?

Only thing you would miss out on is the sound

True, i totally felt in love with the shape and location of those "ingo noak" pipes though.
Maybe some local tuning agency can just shape a piece of carbon for me the way it is on the picture above

                    • Expensive but very nice if you can get that done. Personally this one looks better:

Does not look like it lowers the rear on this picture though, looks like you're lucky

                      • to me that looks like way lower then standard. I mean it will looks disproportional if i wont buy the whole set
But its hard to judge with these huge wheels..
