Really? Were the Aus waiting times the main catalyst or was there a wait all over the world for the MKV Golf GTI? (Sorry for OT).

The wait all over the world was high, but not all markets got the Polo GTI. Australia was one of (or the first?). I'm not specifically sure as it was before I was a VW forum dweller

Nice car GraveDilute, as far as being red, must be frustrating trying to distinguish those GTI red grill stripes from the car

hi Adrian, where are you in NZ and which dealer did you order from? I bought a Polo TSI late last year (Dec) and want to trade it in for a Polo GTI now. I'm in Auckland BTW- been window-shopping at Continental and Giltrap Prestige and no salesmen seem interested in my business, certainly not even interested enough to come out to say hello from their office.

Guys, the price will, hopefully for very obvious reasons, be the "RRP on the road price for that model + options" etc. No dealer in their right mind will list a "discounted price" because then people will call up and still expect another 10% off...
