Why is it so ? Why do australia get less option cars ?

I dont see why we here in oz don t get all the options that others do.We have to order the car and it often take months to get .Like 6 months wait.cant vw australia just tell them to fit the option as they make the car. I think they should offer park assist and camera hell the new commodore has it optional on its models.I know its a small car but its a safety device. They make you pay the big $ for the oz spec car and long time to deliver it .I say if option is over seas let us have it if a customer wants it .

The reason could be as simple as Germany seem peeved as they have to make a 5 door model when 80% of VW hatch consumers in Europe own 3 doors...who knows

          "You think"

Are you sure at all that a RVC is an option on any Polo?
I can't find the option in the UK site. Can't find park assist either.
Maybe that's why they aren't offered here

Tell me if this works... http://translate.google.com/translat...o_gti_kw40.pdf

Its a translation of the German option list. The spec we get seems to have a few of the options already ticked
          RCD310 - thats a stereo upgrade there!
          cruise control - optional there
multi function steering wheel - optional there
          Curtain airbags - optional there

Interesting option is the 17inch DENVER alloy wheels. The Mk6 Golf GTI has these as the optional 18inch wheels. Polished surface.

The optional fake suede/leather trim should be a < $1000 option judging by the prices listed
