I would probably do springs first as not only will the car corber flatter but look better too with no clearance problems

It's my fiancées car and she wont let me lower it :p

My wife said the same thing, but after it was lowered she said it looked heaps better!

It drove and handled better too and the the best thing is that it does not scrape anywhere because the stock suspension is so high.

I told my wife she had no choice otherwise I would just keep pestering her till she said yes. LOL

Just curious Billecartz, who did the H&R lowered coils for you and at what cost was it for parts/installation?

I bought the coils for Orange tuning in Germany for $278.00 landed, I then asked a mate who is a VW mechanic to install them. It cost $200.00 to install and a carton of beer for a 4 wheel alignment and removing the coils from the front struts.

Transformed the car completely, looks and handles better, is more responsive to the throttle and much nicer all round package.

rude racing will ship the kit to us. how many people want one? they emailed saying they could lower the price for more then one kit.

I'm wondering if some of you guys would have been better off waiting a few months for the GTI given some of the mods being discussed?
