  • eye spy with my little eye ...a Polo GTI

    well, at least I will at the International Australian Motor Show.
    The word on the street is that it will be on show at the motor show in Sydney in mid-october

      I rang & dealer said next week is team meeting to update when the new GTI Polo will appear... Probably Nov 2010 & he said could be 2 or 4 doors?? DSG maybe???

        not to be antsy or anything, but it's been over a fair few times already....

        VW HQ have confirmed that for the countries that DO get the polo, the gti will be ONLY 5 door and ONLY dsg.

          Except in countries where they get 3 & 5 door Polo GTIs - lol

          The 5 door only Polo GTI for Australia makes sense if it is going to be sourced from South Africa (i think they only build 5 door Polos)

            Focus RS update is being released at the paris motorshow which is destined for a worlwide market in 2012 which could make things interesting.

            We also have hte Audi A1 to be released here and the S1 which is to be released at the Paris motorshow as well.

              ah, i had misinterpreted, thinking that the gti was gonna be coming out of za.

              as for the s1, who is taking bets that what with audi's pricing, it'll go past $45,000....

                  finally they make the concession. shame they didnt do the same with the golf R, tuning it down from 195kw or whatever it is overseas...

                  so it'll be an audi A1 TFSI..... i reckon it'll still fetch at least high high $30's...
