Panoramic Sunroof

Wondering if anyone can help me. I'm trying to find out when the panoramic sunroof will be available on the new polo.

I ordered my car (77TSI Comfortline) in July and added the panoramic sunroof. I was told that I had to wait to order due to production date of the sunroof.

Has anyone got the same issues or have heard when this might be an option?

I believe the panoramic is exclusive only to the Polo GTI but that;s what i believe.

How were you able to order a car (and place a deposit) with an unauthorised option? How much were charged for the sunroof, and when is your expected delivery date?

I was told this option wasn't available on the Polos at all. If it is, I'd love to change my order as I've always wanted a sunroof.

Just got a heads up from my dealer and the sunroof will only be available in the GTI model only, but the fear is it may not be available in Australia as so far i have seen only the 3 door with the possibility of having that option as VGA is only bringing in the 5 door *yawn*

Hi all,
I ordered the car minus sunroof and paid the deposit. Rang back a week later to add a regular sunroof and was told I could get the panoramic for $1700. But due to manufactures I have been told that it will be an option but unsure when. The dealer rang VW Australia and was told that it will be an option but not sure when the option will be available on the ordering system So just waiting to find out when. Would love to know if anyone has heard anymore or differently

Went to a dealer in Sydney last weekend and he quoted me the $1,700 when I asked. No mention of it not being available given that he knows I'm looking to order in a week or so.

which would mean that you could expect delivery sometime between April and July next year (given current order times vs delivery dates)

I was estimated delivery of 2-10 weeks based on the options we discussed. Although, the more I read in this forum, the more I wonder if I will get it before the new year at all!

Volkswagen GmbH, they're in Germany.
