rang VW Australia yesterday.......seeing that the dealer still cannot find out a VIN number etc etc.

5 minutes into the phone call...had a VIN given to me. Awesome. Checked the 'track n trace' site...nothing.

Logged into W & W site just now...found out that the car was loaded 1600hrs Thursday afternoon...ship is under way....ETA to Freo is 8th November.

yup....you're twin is on it's way. The ship has 'disappeared" off the Marine tracking site...no probs...it will re-appear on Sunday night 7th November. At that time I will go upstairs and get the binoculars out, and watch it come into the harbour.

New to the forum but thought I'd post my wait time, I ordered back in May and it has docked this morning so thats 6 months for me.
Still waiting on customs though . Its been hard!

No probs, just looking at the shipping logs, the ship has left port of brisbane already so its been unloaded.. only 10 days left till the car comes!

Ours was "officially" off-loaded from the MV Torrens about 3 minutes ago.

I have been informed by a reliable source that we may get delivery tomorrow. But...........the dealership cannot confirm or deny anything. Can't wait to get the first purchaser "survey" and send that back to VW.

Saw a yellow Comfortline Sportspack on the dealer's front yard this morning. Must say the Boa Vista's look great in real life. Gives the Polo a "presence".

I ordered mine (66TSI Comfortline) Saturday and it was offloaded in Melbounre Saturday night - beats the heck out of the 5 month wait for my Golf GTI. Hopefully will be in my hands within 3 weeks dependent on Patrick's getting it to Adelaide in a reasonable time.

It arrived at the dealership's holding yard at 0825hrs yesterday morning....the sad thing was that I had flown out of Perth at 0625hrs that morning. So...no pick up until next Friday.
