Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
Forgive my ignorance, but the Golf I test drove I was able to access the menu in the MFD display, however I can't seem to find a way to do this on my Polo. Is this something specific with the Golf?
shpould be a button on the wiper stalk underneath to change menus and the swith on the end of the wiper stalk to go up and down all in the manual depending on specs

There is a OK/RESET button under the wiper stalk, is this what you mean? When I press it, it doesn't go into any advanced menu
Don't know if this helps but I just took the missus new polo into dealer to get the autolock features enabled as you cant do this yourself on the mfd - some things seem to be locked down to dealer access only.

Thanks for the reply, are you able to get into the MFD menu at all though?
not sure if it has changed with the new polo but the previous models had no mfd like the golf. very limited info shown in the speedo digital section such as time, outside temp, average speed, instant fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, distance to empty etc... all this is accessible through the wiper stalk end buttons to scroll through them, the reset/ok button changes to the 2nd set of info (shown as a 1 or 2 in the upper corner of the digital display) if you press it once and resets all the info if you press and hold.
its in the manual.

Only able to access things such as blutopless2 pointed out. Trip time, trip length, average and current speed, speed warning, average and current fuel consumption, outside temp and distance till empty.
Seems like a dumbed down version compared to the golf MFD which enables you to set a lot more things.
Maybe contact the dealer for more info because I'm sure if they can set things like autolock/unlock for you then they would be able to do time delay(for headlights etc)
just to clear up any confusion i may have put in......
the information is displayed in the tacho digital display... not the speedo as i stated above.... my bad.
