Hi

First post.

I've ordered a new 2017 white polo GTI manual last week from a dealership here in Melbourne.
Still waiting for delivery from Queensland. Expect it to arrive next week.
Looking forward to picking it up.

Not looking at modify it any time soon as this is my daily driver and there's another car in the garage that I tinker with.

Yeah love the Polo GTI. i have 2015 model and 6 speed manual. I aint that tall so this size fits me well. I just love the 320nm of torque you can definitely feel it.

Wish mine came with 2 cigarette lighters though and electronic flipping side mirrors. lol

done 16000km.

Had a phone call today. It has arrived but unsure when I can pick up. It will probably be Thursday the earliest due to working hours.

Will probably take it to Philip island for a drive this weekend as I need to go there anyway.

Sport mode changes the shock absorber damping.
Does the 2015 have CarPlay?

The 2017 is a 7.5 update which has improved tech inside if you spec the options dynaudio, 9.2 inch infotainment ,digital screen ect

yes has apple and android play. quite good actually as i use android play for gps mapping then when messages come through you can talk to google to read and reply to your messages via voice.

Still figuring out all this car has to offer.

The suspension is nice and firm in normal mode and even firmer in sports. Handles great and the motor is lively. I haven't really driven it that hard as yet as I am still running it in.

Infotainment system is great, and I love the sound system in this car. Sounds great.

I am glad I have choosen this little pocket rocket. The only problem I can for see, is keeping out of reach from the misses. She has her eye on it already.

i have no problem on the wifey end. she can't drive a manual. lol
