Hi All, first time poster here, I've been a Subaru guy for the last 30 years but needed a change and decided a B8 wagon would make a nice change from my Legacies.
I recently had a coolant leak and set about changing the water pump. I chose (what I thought was the smart way) to leave the intake manifold ON and remove only the throttle body to gain access to the pump.
I'd put everything back together made sure all the plugs were plugged and fired it up and it's thrown multiple codes (ACC/ESP/Tyre Pressure) and a CEL. It's also taking a long time to start and the throttle response is all over the place.
The majority of the faults seem to be a U112300.
It's no secret in VAG land that multiple codes can be diagnosed to an ABS sensor. I checked my live data and all four corners are showing speed but the front two sensors have an error for direction and air gap. I can't see how BOTH sensors would have failed from the car being parked up while I did the pump. I've gone as far as removing them and giving them a clean, but there's no damage to the cables, everything looks kosher.
Can anyone give me some guidance on where to look next? I've cleared the codes multiple times and the same thing happens.
Also, how do I add my history? I seem to go over the character limit if I try?
