Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    2018 Passat Daytime Running Lamps

    Hey,

    Does anyone know what lights the daytime running lamps take?

    Would these work?

    Who knows as you havent said what model it is and what its got in it now. Also it is not normally legal or sensible to put LED,s in the incorrect housing as they flare like the sun

      For some reason the LED issue flew right over my head.

      The vehicle is a 2018 Passat 132tsi. I assumed they would all have the same bulbs hence me asking in here. What I'm more or less asking if anyone knows what bulbs the running lamps take

        Does it have Halogen or Xenon headlights Highlines usually have xenon Lower ones can have halogen
