Struggling to see a difference between the 1st and 2nd images. The last one has italic numbers and a higher top speed. What else is better about it?

Difference between 1 and 2 is there’s little blue lines at 30 and 50 mph and the fourth is the R clocks (red line is different and the range and consumption lines are different, and there’s brackets around them)

There is also the GTI option which is slightly different again with the tacho and reads to 280. The sequence on starting is a bit cooler with the R clocks as well

I need to buy an interface to my car's computer. With so many configurable options we simply don't have access to. It's like buying a new computer but not having administrator access.

I was looking into it, but it looks like it needs an app on your phone to work. And reviews of the app are bad. Ongoing in-app purchases to do anything.

Then I looked at the software to run on a laptop, plug it in and do it that way. That looks more like my style (I'm an IT guy). Can't find many details on it though.

Yes obdeleven runs on android and if you don’t want to long code or change adaptions you will need credits to run “apps”, but you can get 5 credits a day free but to be honest the apps are just scripts for long coding, and the other thing is with obdeleven is the databases are held online so it can take a while to do stuff,

as as for the laptop one, just look up Ross-tech or vcds

I spent like 20 credits of my xmas 200 credit free bonus and a bit of research here and a couple of other sites ended up long coding for 98% of my mods.
If you want to do adventurous stand alone new things go PC if you just want to turn stuff on which should already be on go OBD2.

Do you know what model that is on? If it's on a new model like the new Polo then it's not likely to be done for older cars but maybe in the coding for newer releases.

It's a Passat GTE layout. I've gone through all variants on mine (0-9, A-F) and it's not there.

It's not only the Passat GTE layout, some of Passat highline have the same, i think it's another AID firmware. It's the best AID mod.
