Posted in the newbie thread but thought i would share it in the B6 specific thread.
This is my new car - Build date sep 09, compliance dec 09 (QLD transport class it as an MY10? guess it was first registered in 2010? anyway - R36 Wagon or is that what they call a variant?
Completely standard aside from some servicing that i wanted to start doing (DSG) and soon Haldex - i literally had it tinted the morning after i picked it up - it has 20% on the front, and 5% on everything rearward of the B pillars.. Lumina 60% heat rejection film..
The previous owner had the front rotors replaced with some cross drilled ones.
Looking to possibly change the exhaust up a little, not interested in 'straight pipe'
, but maybe remove the center muffler and replace with a center/center or offset center muffler.. if i don't like that i'll just fabricate a nice 304L stainless v band system from the cats back with some freer flowing mufflers and possibly 100mm carbon fibre over stainless tips.
Me personally - i am a procurement specialist working for a large insurance company, so having a daily office job and being the category manager i need a suitable vehicle that what i believe portrays the appropriate image when i addend vendor meetings offsite.. a 400hp 1JZ powered IS200 that i painstakingly put together sort of ruined that a little..
I also run a detailing business - supply of products and services, paint correction and ceramic coatings to leather treatments and protection etc which is why i got a wagon, it was hard fitting everything into a sedan.
Only decent pic i have of the car - and it was literally before i washed it!
