Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi, i am considering upgrading from my 2010 jetta 125 tdi to the passat 130tdi highline. Have people had a trouble free experience? Anything to look out for when purchasing? My jetta has been amazing and bulletproof.. hoping for the same. Any advice or feedback most welcome.

The 130TDI and 140TDI Alltracks are different beasts. The 140 is a completely new model (B8 chassis). The 130 is the B7 chassis.

I have previously owned a 125TDI Highline Wagon with Sports Pack / DAP and then got a 130TDI Highline Sedan with Sports Pack / DAP. Both were excellent cars! The 130TDI had a good jump in torque to 380Nm and that made it drive much better!
There was a 130TDI Special Edition that also gained Bi-Xenon Headlights if you are looking on Carsales...

Either way you can go wrong!

70,000km, only hassle was getting a leaking "rear windscreen wiper pipe" that I managed to get fixed under warranty (even though it was 6 months past it). AllTrack 130TDI
