My MY2013 Passat headlights has started to 'fog up'. It seem that unlike my old Golf 5 that was all foggy on the surface, it seems to happen inside the glass. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix these? The golf headlights could be fixed by (a lot of) polishing.

Mine is not moisture either. Almost looks etched or like tight swirls from an orbital sander.Comment

I guess it's plastic aging, from the sun and the heat from the light bulb.

I agree, but following some experiences I have had with VW recently over some other issues I am doubtful they would do anything to assist with this.Comment

Yeah my MY11 passat has this, its weird as during the day the lenses look clear but headlights on you can see fine chip like defectsComment
