Passat and hot weather...

I got some "problem" but do not know even of this problem at all.
My passat starts with 1000 rpm on hot weather (ac off). After 5 min drops to 800rpm and all normal. Once i turn ac goes again to 1000 rpm until i shut down ac. Never happened on my old 2009 passat. Now, using 2014 and someone told me that is normal behaviour since engine work hard to provide propper boost in hot weather. No sure about it...

Sounds normal When compressor cuts in on most cars revs go up a bit to compensate for increased load


Better change your sig then as it says 2009 Passat
