Help me choose - Passat Alltrack B7

The full T's And C's are available by googling the full name of the document
Where you concerned that Allianz would not have honored anything?

I read through the t&c before posting that link. It's seriously not worth it.

The exclusions outweigh what I would want on the alltrack, half of the categories don't even apply to the vehicle. Plus they require you to service every 6 months or 10k which is inside of the nominated service intervals for the car.

I'll take the 3 month statutory and get my local dealer to run it over and see if anything looks worrying.

They will be carrying out any future servicing and have always done the right thing by me for my transporter (perk of being a business customer ?)

Sorry forgot to mention that the test drive went well.
After a quick trip to the servo (they forgot to fill it up) with the sales guy. Then dropping him back (for some reason he wanted to go with us) we rolled out from Alexandria over to the eastern suburbs to hunt for some nice steep hills. Played around with the gearbox to see if the DSG had any shudders and all seemed quite smooth. The auto stop at lights took some getting used to though. The wife loved it, and she managed a nice 3 pt turn on a tight 35• slope with the parking sensors and camera. Her main concern was the size of the wagon over her existing Mazda 3 hatch. (Funnily enough my T5 is never and issue for her)
Did about 30km and 1 1/2 hours of cruising around, lunch & coffee etc to really get a feel for the car.

Deal has been done and pick it up Thursday morning.

Thanks for all the input, expect an owners pic thread entry soon

      For now....

Ha ha he just wanted to make sure it came back or he wanted to pay for the fuel LOL. Wouldnt be the first time one didnt.

Only took it out because of the DSG issues but after I did they were covering them anyway.

As in VW Australia were covering it? Were you new or second hand owner?
