Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Passat alltrack LED light bar

    Hi everyone

Ive just purchased an 13' passat alltrack. I was just wondering has anyone fitted or got opinions on the stedi range of LED light bars? see links below of what I'm currently looking at.

My passat has bi-xenon lights with front parking sensors. I was thinking these 2 products but after measuring the number plate bracket, it would cover the 2 front parking sensors next to the number plate. Also, the bi-xenon, would that affect the cars electrics at all?

Whilst its bi xenon, my wife and I do a lot of night country driving, with a lot of wallabies and deer around, it would be great to see even more.

Ill the be the first to put my hand up and say I am not car savvy or electronically able, hence why this question is being posted...

Any thoughts or opinions would be great!!
    Cheers
    Ben
